WVU RANKED #4

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

I would have said an athletic scholarship from Marshall, but he wasn't in handcuffs.

Probably correct as that is why the law school was formed at WVU.

How many times are you going to misspell that word??

Attention, Industry: Aaron doesn't learn and make corrections; regardless of how he's coached, he's going to continue doing it his way.
you are taking arps job away from him
"You are taking Arp's job away from him."

No......As long as Democrats and the NEA need dumb people who can't learn or communicate without their (cough) "help," I'm going to have job security!

This reminds me of this classic scene:

"They tooook arr jawbs!"

"They tuke urr jaob!"

"They tuck arr jawwwwwbs!"

:D

AARON SCOTT wrote:(CRAZY) WVU has just as good of chance of being a championship school as any other.
Yeah....that is crazy. I mean, who would make first choice out of a school in a place that's cold, cloudy, dark, and dreary and smack dab in the middle of the swath of land that contains what many say are the ugliest women in the country?

(I don't quite agree with that, by the way....I'd say the swath that runs Philadelphia-New York-Boston-Vermont has that title.....)

No, the finest athletes head for the south and west....everybody knows that! So that's where your champions will be............

Arp, Arp, Arp..........has masterbation lost its fun??? If I really gave two shits about your opinion that my have hurt my feelings. I will be the first to admit that yes, I am a good ole boy that doesnt have the best education in the world. I do however know that people that normally pick others flaws out have one of two problems.....
1. a very small penis
or
2. the self esteem of a crack whore
so let me finish by saying happy thanksgiving and kiss my ass

"Brevity is the soul of wit."

"Grammar," all by itself, is comedy. Anything more would have looked like I was being what he said I was when I was, in fact, just creating joviality and amusement.

By the way, I prefer "alright" and would be extremely unlikely to correct it.

I "know" that "all right" is supposedly the standard form, but that makes no sense to me. "All right," simply based on just looking at it, should mean "entirely correct and proper" and, thus, could -- and probably would -- create confusion rather than clarity. "Alright" for "okay," "satisfactory," and all those associated meanings removes confusion that might exist and prevents confusion that could occur. That makes it the obvious choice for me.

Besides, if you don't go with "alright," then you have to try to explain "altogether" and "already."

And, no matter what you'd say, I'd reply, "But, just as 'alright' does not mean 'all right,' 'altogether' and 'already' clearly do not mean 'all together' and 'all ready!'"

Clarity, consistency, avoided confusion.......yep, I'm an "alright" man!
