Mr. Paul Swan himself. of the same exact radio station, just now, on AM800 during a sports show, made fun of Mr. Roten's promos (including the one potato chip ones) and the fact that Mr. Norris stood Mr. Roten up. He pointed out something to the effect, "He's Chuck Norris, what's anyone going to do to him?"

Who's responsible for promo scheduling, the PD or the morning show host/sales slug or the morning show producer/overnight CHR guy?

Just wondering!!

A DOG IN WEST VIRGINIA WAS SHOT THREE TIMES WHILE PROTECTING HIS OWNER . . . AND HE SURVIVED

Now it's time to recognize our "Hero of the Day" . . . "Roten", the dog Huntington, WV.

Recently, Roten's owner . . . a woman named Roberta Trawick . . . was at home when an intruder busted in through the door, pulled out a GUN . . . and told Roberta to get on the floor.

Roberta says, "I was too scared to move, I didn't know what to think."

Anyway, the next thing Roberta knew, Roten came charging in from another room to protect her . . . and the intruder SHOT HIM IN THE HEAD. But get this . . . Roten wasn't even fazed.

Overall, Roten, named after a famed radio talk show host in this town, was shot THREE times . . . but he NEVER stopped attacking and, eventually, the intruder got so spooked that he took off.

Roberta rushed Roten to the vet, and it looks like he's somehow going to pull through.

"He's got a thick skin, just like Tom", Trawick said, referring to the radio host.

WVHU is now running a promo where Mr. Norris says he missed last week as his daughter was having a sonogram. I am sure Mr. Swan and Co. would appreciate it if I were to say when the next scheduled appearance is to be. I am not, however, the Huntington Herald Dispatch. . .
