We all seen it coming. It's about time.

She has that "I'm a celebrity! I can do what the f**k I want!" attitude like the rest of those snot-nosed kids running around Hollywood.

K-Fed was really demonized for awhile, but time seems to have vindicated him.

Sure, he was a gold digger... But just about any of us would've jumped at the chance to marry Britney as well.

If he winds up with 100% permanent custody, those child support payments will be huge.

Why Britney Lost Custody

TMZ knows exactly why Britney lost custody -- she ignored the Commissioner at every turn.

Rewind to last month. L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon ordered Spears to do a number of things in order to maintain 50/50 custody.

Spears was ordered to meet with a drug counselor -- she didn't do it.

Spears was ordered to submit to drug testing -- she didn't do it.

Spears was ordered to enroll in parenting classes -- didn't do it.

Spears was also required to sign the judge's order -- again, she didn't.

And last Friday, Commissioner Gordon prohibited both Spears and K-Fed from driving the children unless they had a valid California driver's license. Gordon was pissed today when TMZ posted video of Spears cavalierly driving her kids around Malibu.

In short, Spears did everything wrong ... by doing nothing.

Now this spoiled brat will either grow up and take responsibility for herself and get her kids back or....she will sink into the "former child star's hole of hell"......not to be heard from again until she does one of those "I was a child star" expose' at age 60!

Could be she didn't want the kids in the first place.

I am starting to believe that all this stuff is done with intent to publicize.
This woman has not had a hit record (or record, even) in years.
She sees a public that is not interested in her and is looking to new younger stars like Miley Cyrus. She apparently has an income from money put away earlier. She could live on that stash for the rest of her life, but it is not stardom. Nobody could be as stupid as she appears to be.

The single had top 10 potential, but I suspect that it will flop now because people are just tired of her antics.

Ditto with her new album scheduled to be released next month.

She's had many chances for a comeback, and has destroyed every single one of them. At some point, you just have to cut her loose...

But, it's still not too late, long-term. If she can just go away for 2-3 years and get herself in order, then the public may yet give her another chance, providing she has been truly rehabilitated.

However, the drugs and booze are just one symptom of a bigger picture. If you really examine her behavior, there is much evidence of some sort of mental disorder, such as severe bi-polar and manic depression, which she is attempting to self-medicate.

It will take some time.

edit: R & R has the single at #18, with 3345 total spins after only three weeks. Not as bad as I made it out to be... But the question is whether or not it continues to gain momentum.

The Spice Girls don't seem all that bad now, do they?

Instead of sour ol' Britney, you get lots of flavors from The Spice Girls, like Scary, Baby, Posh, um...Dopey, Wheezey, and Autistic Spice.

Looking at Scary Spice, perhaps now karma has caught up to Eddie Murphy for making fun of Buckwheat all those years ago.
