This morning about 7:03AM Merdith announced that "obama announced that obama was dead", and she never stumbled or cracked a smile. as my old frend Dean Sturm told me many years ago if you miss pronounce a name go right stright ahead only the person and his friends will know you were wrong. stop and try to correct it and the whole world ( at least locally ) will know you screwed up. but to announce that the president was dead. i wonder how many people heard this?

At either 2a.m. or 3a.m. (I was mostly asleep), the Fox News Radio headline reader said the same thing: Obama announced that Obama has been shot in the head...he said. He, also, did not correct himself...
