Total Media Group has flipped Country “Big Country 99.5” WBYG Point Pleasant WV to Rock “Pure Rock 99.5” on Friday, June 21.

WBYG becomes the company’s third “Pure Rock” branded station joining 98.7 WYRO MacArthur/Jackson and 105.5 WXTQ Athens. The Alan Stockmeister led company acquired WBYG along with three other stations and two translators last fall from various holding companies of Edward Baker for $1.15 million as it continues to grow in southeastern Ohio and now adjacent parts of West Virginia.

WBYG’s “Swap Shop” show will move to sister Classic Hits “K92.1” WYVK Middleport OH.
