The wife of Lynard Skynard founding member Gary Rossington appeared on an episode of 'Say Yes to the Dress', a reality show on TLC which involves brides-to-be shopping for their perfect wedding dresses at Kleinfeld Bridal, a large bridal shop in New York City. My wife loves the show and I happened to catch the start of the show about the Rossingtons and watched the rest of the episode.
Gary Rossington survived the 1977 plane crash. He and Dale have been married for 30 years and Dale was on the show looking for a dress to wear when they had a renewal of their vows.
Dale tried on several dresses, including a black wedding dress since she always wears all black outfits. She selected a off-white one.
Just thought that was interesting....a rock and roll marriage that's lasted 30 years is worth talking about....
