Stern-Related Ambush On CNBC?

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Stern-Related Ambush On CNBC?

Post by Arp2 »

At 12:35, as CNBC reporter Mary Thompson was covering Citibank's annual meeting at Carnegie Hall, a man burst in and interrupted with, "(to camera) Vote Sangina! (to Mary) Is this about Sangina? (No, it isn't. Could you...) (to camera) Vote Sanjaya! Show America (physicality starts) that we can vote for Sanjaya! (crew, shoving: Get outta here!) No! It is important! No! I am an American; I will vote for Sanjaya! Sannnnjayyyyyaaaaa!"

Oh man... That is funny. Surely someone will have taped this and will upload it to YouTube. I'll bet he wins. This will not be the last season of AI but its days are numbered.

The person involved was reportedly Stern show writer Benjy Bronk.

In case you were wondering, I didn't post it -- the link was tipped on the Stern Fan Network. It also showed "Views: 4" to me, so perhaps YouTube is having counter issues?
