Anybody know where Cable County is ???
There's a spot that runs on WRVC-AM at least once during the Insider Sportsline, and it's been running for weeks. It's for West Virginia Federal Credit Union. The announcer mentions the locations (including Huntington and 2 others) and then mentions the counties served by WVFCU: Boone, Cable, Kanawha, Putnam (maybe more)...". It's definitely being pronounced Cable, not Cabell....
Like I said I first heard it several weeks ago and I heard it again this week, after not listening for a while due to my travels. Is no one there listening ???

1. Remember - Cameron knows all and DO NOT forget it
2. That is why Kindred stations are second rate for the most part
3. Small things make quality stations - for them to let that air is simply ridiculous.
4. Is there a production manager? - I don't want to know I guess.
5. I cared for about a 1/2 second - that appears to be the Kindred
position statement - I dont think its that long - just get the check and
the bill paid.
6. For someone who has little sense of programming or on-air content - stick to playing with your levels - ALL levels!!

By whose standard? That is why Kindred stations are second rate for the most part

What if it is an agency spot? What if the client demands the agency spot run as is? What if they are waiting for a recut?
O.K. That's stretching. Small things occasionally fall through the cracks at every radio station in the world. I guess you never made a mistake or missed something.
There is. His name is Ernie Anderson. He's good.Is there a production manager?
Let me guess. You got fired by Kindred? Couldn't get hired at Kindred? Just a douchebag?I cared for about a 1/2 second - that appears to be the Kindred position statement - I dont think its that long - just get the check and the bill paid.

That's what I was told about 3 weeks ago when I said something to all involved.

But I'm glad your business plan doesn't include receiving payments or paying your debtors. I bet you're quite the financial success.
"KOWARD" Attach your name to something you say. I'm sure you're quite the seasoned broadcast professional. I bet that's why you hide behind a fake name.
KALLING you out KASSHOLE.

...orrr I would like to point out the irony of the work involved in continuning a long thread rather than the short time it would take for me to correct an incorrect commercial. Damn insane, ain't it?

we need a ruling from the swearmaster general. double use of the same base verb, without use of even the lamest adverb. i submit, for consideration, a 2 beer foul. dave must sit on the couch until he finishes 2 more beers, and think about his mistake.

In this case "fuck" is used as a verb and "fuckers" is used as a noun which is perfectly acceptable and encouraged. However, there is a clear case of misuse of ellipses.Zak Tyler wrote:*FLAG*daveinthemorning wrote:

Also, the current preferred usage would be, "Fuck all y'all fuckers." I would also suggest that "fuckers" be replaced by "motherfuckers", but that is a style issue as opposed to an actual error in cursing.
After careful consideration the two beer foul is apt.
