It's an art.....
just had a five minute discussion with the production director about the art and comedic value of the "stupid question"....
the discussion was kicked off by my question to him, "where'd you get that shirt"... shirt=bowling style shirt with scenes of Vegas all over it.... his answer? of course Atlantic City.

Dave Fox, the Director of Creative Imaging or whatever title they call themselves this week, at Z100 in NYC said during the WVBA Spring meeting that he works the same schedule as the morning show people. He said it cuts down on sales weasles coming in at 4:45 demanding for a killer spot to start at 6am tomorrow morning.
Makes sense, although I must say I kinda like the fact that for half my shift there is no one in the building except for the news guy and me. 'Course our GM arrives at 5:30 sharp every morning but he stays in his office and plots ways to rule the world so he isn't much of a bother.

Sale weasles? Try assholes, major. Schedule a spot to run and then don't turn in production on it and call me asking why it anit running. Or having them ask me if I can get extra runs in for a client. That pisses me off more than anything else.daveinthemorning wrote:Dave Fox, the Director of Creative Imaging or whatever title they call themselves this week, at Z100 in NYC said during the WVBA Spring meeting that he works the same schedule as the morning show people. I bet the hot one sells a bunch.daveinthemorning wrote:Actually our sales dept. is pretty good. One used to be a jock so he has an understanding. The other one is hot so we let her by with whatever.
America is at that awkward stage.
