If coolbreeze is going to post his crap on here...

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Your next move?

A crab net, birdcage, Sunday's paper (for the bottom) and a trip to Pets-R-us for pigeon feed.

After all, He (she) has already moved in!

Yeah... my wife keeps saying "Just take it somewhere..."

It's a HOMING PIGEON!

He's taken to favoring his right leg, so I'm wondering what might be up. I didn't see a band, but I'm wondering if it hasn't slid up and started to hurt his leg. I think tonight I'll make an effort to catch him.

White homing pigeons are a relatively new way to make a buck at weddings, funerals, memorials etc. The problem is that many white pigeons never make it home due to them being easy targets to predators (mostly hawks) on their way back because they stick out like a sore thumb.

This pigeon was most likely homed within 25 miles or so from where you live. Sadly, it doesnt matter whether you find it's home or not, because it will just be hawk bait no matter what.

The article I reference on the webpage is about a homing pigeon that landed in Fayettenam, NC after leaving Beckley, WV. I talked with Seth Burke (the guy in Beckley) who gave me some good information, but since he (the bird, not Burke) isn't banded, finding the owner is a worthless endeavor. I've sent a few emails, but haven't gotten any responses.

We've got a pattern now. In the morning, I chase him out of the garage. In the evening I open the garage and he flies back in for the night. I haven't seen any hawks in the neighborhood, so I'll hope for the best. Otherwise, I'm building a coop. :-)
