I love it at the APP when a visiting coach comes out to argue a call and they play a snippet of (Tom Hanks from A League Of Their Own) "Are you crying? Are you crying? There's no crying in baseball!".

Almost as funny as hearing Homer Simpson saying "Mmmmm...Wings. Mmmmm....beer!" when they do their wing promotion with Quaker Steak.

Funny stuff!

Mom Accused of Attacking Baseball Coach

Jun 8, 11:04 PM (ET)

PRINCETON, La. (AP) - A woman has been arrested for attacking a coach after finding out her daughter had not made the Little League all-star team, sheriff's deputies said.

Sherry Savage, 30, allegedly grabbed a baseball bat and started toward the female coach.

Someone snatched the bat away, but Savage is still accused of slapping coach Gina O'Neal in the face before the two wound up in a wrestling match, deputies said.

Deputies said the fight happened shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday at the Princeton Little League field in eastern Bossier Parish.

Savage was booked with disturbing the peace, simple battery and aggravated assault. She was later released on bond.

I dont see the point in making the guy be an ump for an inning, he was doing what they pay him to do... if anything that umpire needs to go to some therapy or sumthin to build some self esteem....
