Attorney Danny Cline...

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

When I was in school I once asked my friends dad (who was a lawyer) why he didnt advertise and he replied "lawyers who have to advertise aren't good lawyers" I'm not sure how much truth there is to that statement, but those goofy commercials tell me he isn't a good one...

Back in the day lawyers who advertised were not very highly thought of. In fact when I started all of their spots had to say "responsible attorneys..." A friend of mine who is a high school teacher told me that on a recent field trip her students were on the bus singing, "Jan Dills Attorney at Law, she won't take no for an answer!" My how times have changed!

Jan Dills is very hot, BTW.

Is Jan Dils brother in jail?
Was he the one who ran a used car scam sorta like the Ron Price/Automall deal in Louisa Ky?

The one I miss the most is Mark Hunt and his weird, mutant family.

All these retarded lawyer commercials get in the way of me getting my morning Montel on!

Are you talking about Ron Perry. That guy was such a crook that I ended up getting my first Jeep from Ken Blanton at Boyd Co. Jeep prior to their selling the Jeep franchise to Superior.

I just took a glance at the Jan Dils website and talk about a joke. Perhaps I have been blinded by the work of Philadelphia Lawyers, but I would not hire them as my council.

Yeah, that Ron Perry.
Jan's brother, I think, did the same thing in Parkersburg/St. Marys.
Got caught.

Jan is nice looking, bet she is a bitch.

The fact that she uses a black and white portrait on her webpage says it all.

I am not sure about the Ron Perry connection, but I am pretty sure that I have a contact or three that could connect the dots.

Every time I see and hear those lawyer commercials, I'm reminded of who runs this state, and why things will never change...

Yeah, that Ron Perry.
Some time back my sales manager at VKM pitched that guy a package at a good rate. He brought out invoices from TCR, KEE and damn near everyone else showing he paid $1 per spot reguardless of the station/time/package. She asked me what o do and I said "Run!! He's a turkey!"

By the way he wouldn't give her a copy of ANY invoice, so I knew they were fakes.

Yes, her brother is the same guy. I believe they had to extradite him twice.

The distance between her eyes and mouth seems strangely large, and her eyes don't even come close to matching the smile her mouth is doing.

By the way, who would want an attorney whose website has spelling and punctuation errors?

The photo appears to be heavily photochopped.

I noticed that as well and thought it was best to let it go. I did get a chuckle out of reading the bios of her staff and noticed that my intern has better skills fresh out of Philadelphia University than these people with years of experience. And Philadephia University is no where near Ivy League level of Penn or the technical caliber of UK, VT, WVU, etc. It sure as hell does not have a student b-school society to match our equivelant to the only Louis Rukeyser fan club in existance at Morehead State University in the early 1990's. Philadelphia Univ. does not even a Cramer BooYah club.

The world is so sterile by comparison to when I went to school. Now I know how my parents felt when I was in school.

Damn! I am depressing myself. I had better hurry and hack some code to cheer myself up.

Spelling errors aside she is a VERY nice lady.

And she won't take no for an answer which leads me to believe she isn't married.

I'm not saying that...I'm saying that she isn't as attractive as some seem to suggest.

Is that something you discovered before or after you became the area's foremost media personality? Believe me, it makes a huge difference...leave your job and see what happens.

Once you leave and people realize you're not there and can no longer influence the thoughts and buying decisions of the masses, you discover that 80-90% of those "nice" people have been faking it.

"No."
By the way, who would want an attorney whose website has spelling and punctuation errors?
Because she won't take no's for an answer?

Arp, this just in..people in general are fake. Jan Dills is fake, Don Blakenship is fake, the kid who brings your pizza is fake, the guy who fixes your brakes is fake. Everybody wants something. When I said Jan Dills was a nice lady that was based on one one dealings with the lady. She spends shitloads of money with my station, so with that being said I should be kissing her ass, not the other way around. I meant she is very approachable. Some people in her position think they are too good to deal with common folk. She is not that way at all, or at least she has never been in my limited dealings with her.
