Is it possible...
...that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the greatest bands ever?
I'm not a fanboy, by any means, but talk about an underrated band that has been getting it done for YEARS.
Discuss.

overall, they've had a lasting power that no band in the last couple decades has been able to match, hell, most of thier singles are almost guaranteed to be top 10... I definitely prefer the older stuff but I think they're still tolerable, I definitely prefer stadium arcadium to their last album...

Animatronics do RHCP
If there's a hell for robots...
Apparently a Chuck E. Cheese/Showbiz Pizza Place animatronic band has found new life singing modern hits like "Lithium" from Evanescence, "London Bridge" from Fergie, "Dani California" from RHCP, and my favorite, "Ms. New Booty" by Bubba Sparxxx (shown after the break).

the rap metal movement was started by th RHCP and Korn, the one single that really made it big though was when anthrax and public enemy did "bring the noise", people seem to think faith no more only did 2 albums for some reason and the only song anyone ever remembers is "epic". and yeah its a rap, but its not their only single, mike patton did 4 or 5 more albums with them after that and its some of the best music they did as a group...Bob Campbell wrote: My only real complaint with them is they and Faith No More spawning all those piece of shit rap metal groups like Linkin Park.

Faith No More... Did they have more than one hit? I can't think of another song by Faith No More other than Epic.Bob Campbell wrote:My only real complaint is.... Faith No More spawning all those piece of shit rap metal groups like Linkin Park.
I though Anthrax had something to do with spawning the rap metal crap, too.
Turn it up...... Bring the noise
What a piece of shit.

The only other ones I remember is Falling to Pieces, and We Care a Lot.fanofbigmedia wrote:Faith No More... Did they have more than one hit? Epic is one of my all-time favorites, even though it's responsible for most of the rapcore stuff in the late 90's. It was definitely ahead of its time.
I love the piano solo at the end.
That was probably the song that did it. It came out about the same time as Epic.I though Anthrax had something to do with spawning the rap metal crap, too.

Music was pretty segregated at the time... Maybe Anthrax just wanted to show us how progressive and non-racist they were.
