Are there any Easter Eggs on this site? Maybe "Broadcast Tycoon" where you run a six-station operation with 2 air personalities, a few computers, a news person/meteorologist/traffric reporter/play-by-play announcer, a couple of sales people, and an engineer with his official replica of a MacGyver Swiss Army knife.

I'd be interested in knowing what you've observed... I love Google, but at the same time, I know they're gaining serious privacy leverage over all of us by the day. Why, just imagine how many pastors and politicians they could out right now by releasing their internet searches for scat and kiddie porn...

That recent thread with the Google map was pretty creepy. They zeroed in right on my house without me giving them my address number.

But I do have to check out this flight simulator... Maybe my dual-core desktop will finally get a good workout...

Back in the late 80's or early 90's, there was a local computer dial-up bulletin board that had many files to download, including a Charleston scenery add-on for Flight Simulator. I think people would be able to crash into the South Side Bridge or buzz the State Capitol Building. That board had scenery files for several other cities, too.

No. It's like this. There needs to be a certain amount of cursing in any discourse (both private and public). Unfortunately, most people swear too much or too little. They also put curse words in the wrong place or use the wrong swear at the wrong time.

I hold my swearing up as an example to all.

I do it as a public service and shit.

Thought of you this week. Saturday, I started a new blog on blogspot. my gmail account automatically filled EVERYTHING in. So essentially, there was no sign-up. So now, when I click My Account, it's one more widget in group.

It makes my life so easy and scares the bejesus out of me at the same time.

And Google reader...it's like crack. I don't even bother visiting the websites anymore.

I couldn't agree more, also, that previous statement came out wrong, I was in a hurry, meant to just say swearing.

I tinkered with the flight simulator the other night. I kept taking off from LAX and crashing. it then put me in flight above LAX. I tried to fly towards the city, but crash landed on the 405 instead. Another time, I made it to the mountains and promply flew into the side of one.

I can see how this can be addicting...

The graphics are not too bad, either... It will be better after they have detailed mapping for the entire country. Most of WV is still grainy and generic, except for the C/H area.

My eyes bothered me for awhile afterwords. It seemed like everything was moving up and down.

That artificial horizon gizmo helps you not fly into the ground and such.
Windows are pretty and stuff but meters and gauges keep you between the ground and outer space.
