Why?

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

because...
Blank Keys to Type up to 100% Faster
Like on a piano, since there are no keys to look at when typing, your brain will quickly adapt and memorize the key positions. Within a few short weeks users increase their typing accuracy and find themselves typing up to 100% faster.
Makes sense, in a weird way.

There's really nothing new in this concept. Years ago, in public school typing classes, the keys were often blank.

My last keyboard had some blank keys due to all the pizza grease on my fingers. Either that or the dirt covered the letters.

I remember using a computer keyboard at WTSP in Tampa that was so worn out that some of the letters had literally rubbed off from overuse. Luckily I know how to type without looking, but it was amusing to see co-workers try unsuccessfully to use it.

I often find my keyboard covered in some sort of sticky, gooey substance.

The result of too much one handed typing.
