Is there a special purpose for this tribute or is it just a nod of appreciation to their work over the years and years and years that they've been doing what they've been doing?

The only reason for the "tribute" is that I saw this coming up:

Okay, so it meant something only to me. Kinda like Harry Saferight's autograph.

I know one of the guys was involved in a molestation thing. Paul Stookey went on to a fairly successful Christian music career, so I would probably place my money on Peter Yarrow. Although I wouldn't rule out Paul...

As soon as I knew that my 1700th post was coming up, I was immediately reminded of Peter, Paul & Mary's "Album 1700"...which was Warner Brothers Records catalog number 1700, thus it was aptly named. Kind of like Yes around 18 years later with "90215", which was Atco catalog number 90215.

Anyway, there is the significance of the thread. I am both sorry and happy that I don't make sense...

I see that you joined the board the day before I did in 2001. I find it hard to believe you've had more than 1100 more threads than I have. You must have racked up a few during the threads with song title themes.

Well, for the first six months after my joining I was STILL ACTUALLY ON THE AIR, so I felt a whole lot more viable as one to speak. Then, for the next year I just sat at home doing my business and production and racking up tons of posts and playing Poppit. Then I started back into the full time production stuff (when you emailed me and inquired about a "church show") I had to cut back on the posts, but got more "serious" about what I talked about.

And don't forget that I had hundreds of posts on the old "BLUE BOARD" back from the time that Jeff first pointed me over in the direction of it.

Speaking of which, why isn't there a link up the right hand corner to a "History Page" for the message board that tells of it's origins and fabled past.
