China toys for Christmas?

With so many toys and various other products showing up with lead and other problems. One has to wonder how long this has been going on. As well as how many other products besides toys might be affected. This could have been going on for years as the government and private business doesn't check hardly anything. I wonder if I have things with lead in it in my home, maybe for years now.

Maybe that is why my caller ID, and caller IQ has been showing up with lower numbers for a while now.

With no more lead in solder via RoSH, all that lead will go to waste
without some use.

I always sort of wondered, ... Don't they have any other elements in China? Tin, Copper, Iron, ... Gold? Oh! yea, figure they have lots of gold.
