Coach Rod is looking
From H-D.com:
West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez met with Michigan athletic director Bill Martin and school president Mary Sue Coleman in Toledo today to discuss the open coaching job position, the Detroit Free Press and Sporting News reported this afternoon.
Rodriguez, who is set to make $1.8 million this season according to a USA Today study of coaches' contracts, signed a second amendment to his WVU contract in August 2007. His contract now runs through the 2013 season.
Rodriguez flirted with Alabama almost exactly a year ago, but he decided to remain at his alma mater. At the time, that contract offer was reported to be six years, $12 million.
His career record is 60-26.

Good at it, too! Ohio State was so completely humiliated by Miami that they're still pissed and raring for another chance, so I think they'll whip LSU. But then I'm not what you'd call an impartial observer.FearPeddler wrote:hahaha, good one, but really, mich. choked on appy state, ohio's gonna choke on lsu, like they choked last year, alot like wvu choked on pitt...

Good observation. Me thinks DickRod better mind his P's and Q's with Mountaineer fans, alumni, and Athletic Department higher ups. If I were an 'eer, I be getting pissed at my "Golden Boy" coach publicly sniffing on every other coaching job out there from A to Z.genlock wrote:Coach Rod may be using Michigan's desperation to extort some more money from the friends of coal or the WVU foundation. I wonder how high they will go?
It won't take too much of that for DickRod's good will to go South, especially if the Mountaineers lose a few games next year.
You would never see this shit from Woody Hayes.
