She tells the mag that the father is Casey Aldridge, who she has been dating for some time and first met at church. Brit's younger sister, star of Nick's "Zoey 101," says she's keeping the baby.

Sources tell us that she has not yet told her older sister. Well, she knows now.

Isn't it odd that more is being made that a 16y/o is pregnant than the fact that a 19 y/o got her that way? Had it been any of the fellows on this board in his place, there would be cries of "rape," "sex offender," "predator" and heaven knows what else.

True. This entire situation is effed up...

And to make matters worse, they reportedly stopped seeing each other recently.

She was poised to become at least as big as Britney. All she had to do was follow the path. But now...

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that having kids is bad. But they're not good when the ones having them are kids themselves.

Then, there's the whole "role model" concern.

Oh well. Really sad situation.
