If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Nope.....I won't....I'm enjoying it too much!

Plus, it's serving as a team-building exercise for us. Nothing brings some unity to a group like a common enemy (idiot, in this case), so you keep doing what you're doing (whatever in the world it is -- I don't think a one of us understands a word of it).....

I don't think we unjustly attack Wheeling or the northern panhandle.
I have been there and have seen for myself that it is a rust-belt horror.
I would not want to live there, but better Wheeling than Welch or Gilbert.
The local fan-boys need something local to cheer.
Just possibly, WKKX is the best they have to work with.
Sadly, If that is the case, maybe we should go along with it.

Lester,

I posted a thread about KKX. It was deleted. Why? There was no profanity, no insults. If ARP closed the thread tell him I don't know why.

You people let a moron like Snake say anything he wants, and he's still allowed to blather on.

Now I know why radio people are equated with freaks, and geeks.

No offense to you, but with the profanity allowed on the site, the stupid fighting, and you nixed my thread.!!!!!

Thank you for reading my e-mail.

I will never understand why fellow West Virginians would in- fight, and talk about how Wheeling stinks!
Dude, you're all from the same state!!!

For gods sakes, some posters are from southern WV!

Lester, here is the e-mail you keep asking about.

Unfortunately,

I read the thread all at once up to this point. I have NO idea what it's about, and cannot even tell where it made it's 'ugly' turn.

1. I was reading.
2. Someone asked if Mike Webster was dead.
3. Crusader started making unintelligible noises.

Am I still on track?

If not, could someone send me a primer?

Thanks.

Michael Lewis Webster (March 18, 1952 - September 24, 2002) was an American football player who played center in the National Football League from 1974 to 1990. He played his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. "Iron Mike" anchored the Steelers offensive line in their dynasty era and is considered by some as the best center in NFL history.

Wheeling may be chosen for the filming of a movie about the great depression.
Set decorators and costuming people will not have to change much.
The area gets much nicer the farther you go towards Columbus.
There is a place on the interstate where a dirigible crashed in the 1930's.
I forget the name of it. It was a big deal at the time.
Bethany is a nice quiet place.
Moundsville was a good place for a prison.
