Andy & Company off the air.

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

I don't think its ever good when a local program is canned in favor of syndicated programming...I understand budgets, etc. I still don't like it.

Regardless of opinion, I hate to see another local guy get cut down. Particularly in talk.

I am a talk radio junkie and I like that here in Pittsburgh we have two major talk stations (one that is primarily local talk and the other that has the major syndicated shows). I used to have satellite for talk radio, but when I moved here I ditched it.
I've never heard of Daybreak USA... I would have thought that WVTS would have went with Imus. At least he's well known and a good alternative to 58 WCHS.
I think the perfect talk radio station has a good mixture of local news/talk with the syndicated programming. In WV, WCHS and WAJR do that well...

Andy wasn't canned he had some personal issues back home he needed to take care of. When it comes down to it family trumps work, always.
