R.I.P. Jeff Healey

Just read that Jeff died of the cancer that he's been fighting since age 1. Truly a rare, abundant talent. And just weeks shy of a new release.

That's really a loss. I thought he was "only" blind; didn't know about his health struggles. Twice saw him live. Hell of a musician...

Even though I was never a big fan of Jeff's, I will say that he and his music made a very very significant impact on my life at one point. I will always remember that event and am saddened to see him go...

One of the great love songs of all time, "Angel Eyes". It was written by one of my all time favorites, John Hiatt.
