You are correct genlock. My pals at WOWK at the time made it pretty clear that the fact she was black made the whole thing a lot worse.

You dudes are way off. Christy was long gone by the time Tom got canned. She was working at WVU the last I heard.
Tom got canned cause the management decided his salary was too big and they needed to find a reason to let him go.... it ended up being a nitpicky list of trumped up crap... like long dinner breaks and saying he refused to cut promos. Why the heck do you think he sued their b@lls off for $15 mil and won?!
