After reading more than a few of these posts I have to pose the question: Why do guys hate the northern panhandle of WV so much? ...

I don't hate the northern panhandle or it's residents.
The area has come under some fine humor over the past due
to some of it's radio fans attitudes. Some of the NP types take
the radio business and it's by-products way to seriously and
therefore our comments too seriously. Some fine football and
basketball is played there and I am sure that some fine radio
stations are located there. Some of the rantings of the radio fans appear to be
that of a 13 year old fanboy.
Take the comments as good humored ribbing.

No one HATES people from there or the area. It just seemed that, at least for a while,it became a big pissing match between the stations there. It was kinda funny though...in a great big dumbassness sorta way.

So whats the deal then...I used to be from the area awhile ago: Who runs the show in the northern panhandle? I've heard classic WWVA is everything but.

We'd love to know. We're still looking for a halfway intelligent contact in that area to post some stuff. In the past, all we've gotten is "WKKX kicks some fuckin' ass, dude" and "Bloomdaddy and The Taint Rulzz" from the booger-eating 'tard helmet crowd ...

I can say....hopefully without sounding stupid..that I'm affiliated with WKKX my cousin and I host a show on Weds nights
http://www.whispersradio.com We do the live show...record it, then podcast it out. I really don't want to get in any "pissing match" though...everyone there has been really good to us

not entirely sure I know that our show is only broadcast through our county. most people listen from live feed online or podcast. I know that we have more power during our show than the morning show does during their first hour
