Fingernails on the chalkboard
WKEE got their new processing going.
See how long you can listen before your ears get tired or you want to rip the radio apart.
Huntington now has an example of what it sounds like when you take digital processing one step too far.
It's the self distruct button digital style.

I'll have to wait until they get off the bird and back to the computer's music library.
It may have been set up initially to compensate for satellite audio. I don't know.
(Anyone with a half-assed Jones music format that goes from 16k mp3s to uncompressed CD knows.)
Pictures of broken-glass and squarewaves and the occasional sawtooth enter the mind, though.

This isn't an audio 'first' for KEE. I believe it was prior to engineer Thompson (late 60s') when they "taylored the audio to the 3 inch speaker". I remember it was in the summer and you can just imagine what is sounded like on advertisers new FM stereos! But it was damn LOUD on my eight xistor! Didn't last long.
And then there was the new transmitter terror attack of 1973.....
