Twas the night before Christmas at WTRF...

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Twas the night before Christmas at WTRF...

Post by JustWinBaby »

Twas the night before Christmas at WTRF.
Closed Captioning wasn't working. Too bad for the deaf.
Parkervision was crashing, and will be down for days...
as the engineering staff walks around in a haze.
But up on the roof there arose such a clatter.
Maybe the place is falling in, not that it would matter.
Then through the front door came the man they call Bray.
He stopped to tell everyone they must work Christmas Day.
One employee then asked if that would mean a Christmas bonus.
Bray said no way, but presented some tote bags he could loan us.
Then he returned to his sleigh and started cracking the whip.
It was pulled by his stooges, all joined at the hip.
On Brenda, on Roger, on Brad but that's all.
The others were fired or quit in the fall.
But we heard him exclaim as he rounded the bend.
Remember to watch Decision Makers this weekend!

'twas the night before Christmas and all thru the station
the computers were a wirrr in anticipation.

With the humans gone, they could do there best
and put our poor listeners thru the test.

With false starts, missed cues and multiple sources
they'll make all the stations sound like stampeding horses!

The clients will bitch, the clients will moan
but will do no good, for no one is home.

'till the 26th, when all come back in
to ponder what happened and how it began.

But we all know, 'twas the night before
when the computers were talking, as we locked that door....

'Tis the morning of Christmas and Dave's ass is working...one of the joys of having a 100% live station with no voicetracking.

Doesn't bother me one bit.

Merry Christmas...fuckers.

Come on. Get a sense of humor. You'll need it working at that place.
