Even Hallburn could succeed at Public Radio.
They won't know or acknowledge if you fail.

Let's just hope Beckley doesn't have a swimming pool that closes early.

The unstated job requirement: be farther to the left than Barney Fwank.

Speaking of Public Broadcasting, who are some of these people I hear on their stations?

We all know our own Chuck, but what about Frank Stowers (sp?)--What's his background in radio? Or, Lori (Laura?) who sounds, shall we say, very enthusiastic? Then, there's that deep-toned guy who does overnight IDs--great pipes, but why don't we hear more of him?

With a pool like that (among others, I'm sure) from which to choose, why not hire from within?

Whatever show I heard on the WOUB network while I was in for the holidays sounded like it was being hosted by a depressed, aging hippie. OU professor, perhaps?

Frank Stowers sounds like he is about to collapse at the microphone trying to wheeze his way through all of those legal ID's.
