WWVA in Wheeling is running tons of ads that they are now broadcasting in HD.

Their website talks about the benifits of HD on the FM band ... not metioning the fact they are a AM station so what is the benifits of HD on the AM band?

Benefits of HD to AM?
Makes the argument for moving all the low power AM's to FM on channels 5 & 6...since otherwise they get blasted out of existence by "clears" running sideband jamming stations, err, HD radio.
BTW, WYSL, 1040, Rochester NY is just running their day pattern at night. Probably got tired waiting for the FCC to do something about IBAC interference from WBZ.
