WSAZ/MyZ inaugural Parade remote

What's holding up the parade?
Scheduled for 10 am.
It's not on. Extra is on.
Technical problems or massive screw-up?
Have they run off all the people that can do such a thing?

They finally made it.
Apparently the planners forgot that a parade starting at Capitol street at 10 am
will not get to Greenbrier street until 10:30 am. Otherwise the street is empty.
Heckava job you are doing, Scottie.

Parade ended 45 min early.
Cold.
Some of the bands looked less than excited about the occasion.
Keeping in step apparently was just a suggestion.
Hard to do much video control when the ground is white.
Jessica looks shapely even in a big coat.
At least they tried to do a parade.
That counts for something.
Good use for MyZ.

WSAZ made it on time for the 12:30 show from the Capitol on MyZ.
WCHS and WOWK are in regular programming. Today's programming
shows how far ahead WSAZ is in this market. Good use of digital sub-channel.
WTAP (same parent company) will run the inauguration on a subchannel.
