I Love WQXX, I listen all the time at work in Huntington. Now what kind of music do they play?

Something seems terribly out of whack with those numbers ...

:?
Translators are a Pox on the FM radio dial.

I think the dog should carry lex and terry. With all the dick jokes and sex talk they are doing that is what they want to be anyway.
They now even harass that girl on the air. They are trying to be the same show.
At least that helps our station in ratings. Great for me.

Let's take nominations for the biggest disappointment(s):

1. How about the stations of 5th Ave? They have done absolutely NOTHING in the market. I know they swiped JB but
that's about it. I expected Newman to get those stations in much better shape as a strong, viable competitor but clearly
it just has not happened.

2. WAMX - WOW they sand like soft sh$t in a rain storm. The thud that was heard when the book came out was indeed
the X-106 ratings. Maybe they got rid of the WRONG people in the latest purge.

KUDOS to Rock 105 - people say its not a Huntington station but for a "non-Huntington" station they seemed to do VERY well I would say!! GREAT job to the St. Albans gang!!!

What are the qualifications for a simulcast? I know 800 and 1230 part company for Ironton sports and in some cases for Ohio State sports. How much can they be apart before they can't be listed on the same line?

WBKS-FM Clear Channel Rhythmic 3.0 2.1 5.0

WAMX-FM Clear Channel Active Rock 4.6 6.0 3.0

Jesus H. W. Christ. What the hell happened here?

I used to listen to WAMX on the way home in the evening. Now, I listen to Nunley. Prior to Jay's hostile takeover, Rock 105 had zero appeal for me. Now, the music is more my style and I don't hear crappy 70s bands every third or forth song anymore.

Solong WAMX, it was a nice ride but it is now over.

I haven't seen anything other than 12+. Until 2pm today, I've been drunk since Friday :D. But my guess would be this, we're seeing book placement South and West of Huntington. I appreciate you tuning us in though, WAMX will be back in a big way next book. So will WDGG. It's a funky book for sure.

Maybe it's a "wobble", but almost tripling your audience in one book is probably not...

Aren't they more less sold as a package deal with KEE? If so, it can't hurt.

I haven't tuned in for eons, but from what I remember, they used to play an active current then back it up with a dino track from the 70's. It just didn't work for me...

Maybe they should just dump all the old school stuff and go straight-edge active.

Certainly that would pull more than a 3 share.

Wow.

An all active rock station in this area? That's the stuff dreams are made of!

As much as I like the old stuff...when I wanna hear new stuff (except Nickelback) I wanna hear the new Lamb of God...but not followed by Molly Hatchet.
