So my morning show is out of work...sort of. We did a charity appearance for Make a Wish foundation today, doing the "celebrity waiter". To make it more fun, we had t-shirts made( or my partner actually made) saying "Former Celebrities...Bob And Wendy".
Packed restaurant (Sweet Potatoes, Clay, downtown Winston, great food, try it) got a big kick out of the shirts, as did the Make a Wish Director.
The nice part, Make a Wish went out of their way to track us down after we got fired so they could invite us. Good times, and you never know, the restaurant owner said they needed some wait staff....hmmmm....career change...hmm??

Sounds like you and Wendy had a good following Bob. Are you looking to stay in market only? I suspect I speak for most of us (shut up genlock! ) in saying we can at least attempt to watch for opportunities elsewhere we might hear about if it would be of help to you. There but by the grace of God can go any of us in this climate. Please advise.
