Good to see ARP dust off his greatest hits for all of us again...
I missed those days...
ARP's Corallarys are kind of like the 80's...
Fun to revisit now and again, but very dated....
Carry on my factually challenged son....
One of these daze them there talkin points might actually come back in style...
You might have to restrict them to package tours during the summer time with a bunch of other talking points from other Rightwingers on the same bill...
But you might actually be able to pull in enough folks to make you feel like you have made a comeback...
Atleast for a night anyway!!!

Ahhh... I thought that looked familiar.Arp2 wrote:What you don't know, MO'MAD
BTW, do the VOT archives still exist? Re-releasing those would be a hoot.
Back to the topic, before this thread is locked, here's a fun little clip from MSNBC, attempting a "Gotcha!" game with a McCain spokesman 3 days before Election Day.
Funny how Palin's supposed lack of understanding of first amendment rights was such a terrible thing 3 days before the election. But now that the shoe is on the other foot, maybe the fairness doctrine isn't such a bad idea after all...
This was a segment during the "regular" news day, before the opinionated talkers come on.
I feel all mushy inside that they are trying to save us from being brainwashed by right wing talk radio when we have straight-forward news outlets like MSNBC to tell us like it really is.
Your turn.

Is that who that is, Nomad? Shucks, that's a hoot! Wonder why he got a new ID? A Question for the ages. I wonder if he still wears that armadillo helmet? Hey, remember the time he tried to tell us that Roanld Reagan had nothing to do with the collapse of the murderous Communist Soviet, that it was Gorbachev who really did it? You'd have to laugh, if you didn't have to cry.
Honest, Lester, I try to stop from getting political. But sometimes, I just have to throw out an answer to one thing or another.

Speaking of MSNBC, I changed the channel to MSNBC this afternoon to see how they'd "cover" the "I'm the savior of America and need some video for the propaganda films" event today....for going on 90 minutes, they didn't "cover" it! Why? It soon became obvious -- they had no idea what the desired spin for such a disaster was supposed to be! Finally, Schumer came out and told them to blame the FAA, and, from then on, MSNBC could "report" "what" "happened."AmpedNow wrote:Back to the topic, before this thread is locked, here's a fun little clip from MSNBC....
CNBC, with its Wall Street audience that was forced to evacuate, couldn't wait....while a host or two essentially figured it out and spoke the truth before the teleprompter scripts got written, the on-screen dekos labeled it "military" and "DOD."
"I don't know the same things you don't know."
"Yes, you do; you just won't admit it!"
"Yeeee...it looks like a 'Belt Buckle & Ball Cap' convention in here......"

Yes, but let's be clear that I'm not "outing" him....he did that to himself years ago when he started posting from whichever name he was on rather than making a switch.Jet Black wrote:Is that who that is, Nomad? Shucks, that's a hoot!

Ronald Reagan was a senile closet homosexual.

Translators are a Pox on the FM radio dial.

Now this is some funny material.
And nobody has criticised Shepherd Smith for coming out against torture, in a very spectacular fashion.

Actually I had to get a new id when the e-mail account that I used for the old password/ID was deleted for non-usage..
I came up with another id after I finally found the time to get back to slappin around the lying Rightwingers again..

djshockley wrote: Actually, the only ones that were crying were the Rightwingers when I exposed their boy Ronnie as being the over rated, pathetic, lying, mass murdering failure that he was.. The Reightwingers wanted a God like figure that they could use to inspire others, sadly Ronnie just doesn't stand up to the fact check.... Sorry Rightwingers...
Rightwingers don't like to be told that Ronnie wasn't real anymore than they liked to be told that Santa Claus isn't real... In this case though, they eventually have to accept that Santa is fake when they have to buy Christmas presents... They usually were able to maintain their ignorance about Ronnie being a fraud until they were hit in the face with Iran/Contra or the mass murders in El Salvador... Even then they will just flat out lie....

djshockley wrote: Yep.... And you usually get slapped around for it, but atleast you make it entertaining!!! TNX!!
I still don't have as much time to school the former Bush backers as I would like to have, but after the a$$ kickin that the Republican Party took in 2006, 2008 and with todays announcement from Senator Spector, my slappin the Rightwingers around just isn't needed like it used to be..
The extremist regime that was controlling the Republican Party has long since been exposed, and the entire party has suffered a humiliating defeat due to it's own excessive need to back their extremist factions under the guise of party loyalty...
The Republican Party is finished and everyone knows it... They are nothing more than a regional party now... Sad...
Now, as I have educated the Rightwingers before, I would love to see a return of the two party system in America again... It really would be the best thing for the country...
But as it stands right now, the Republican party has no leaders left.... NOTHING
Unless you want to count their paid Radio and TV pundits like Hannity, Beck and Limbaugh of course...
So, my advice to you Rightwingers is this:
A. Abandon the extremists that destroyed your party in the first place. It is time to tell the wacko's that make up the fringe parts of your party to either accept that you have to grow up and evolve, or you will die!!
B. Find new leaders. Since the Republicans that are out there now have made such fools of themselves over the last 8 years by backing every blatant lie coming from the Bush/Cheney Regime, you have to start fresh my friends... Just go out there and find someone that is charismatic, but is also smart enough to know that the Republican Party is in rebuilding mode... They have to get the wackos that think that the government is going to show up at the trailor park and take their gun away, or the so called "Evangelicals" that still don't realize that they have been had, to accept the fact that the future is now and that they are going to have to just accept alot of things that they previously didn't want to live with... Time to grow up...
C. Stop trying to lie your way out of accepting responsibility for the past. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, they have all been exposed.. The debate is over... No one will ever buy your lying to protect them again... Now is the time to just move past it.. Get out of a defensive mode about it.... It doesn't work anymore... LIVE WITH IT!!
D. And this is the most important: Say goodbye to allowing yourselves to be controlled from your extremist base. This is exactly what destroyed your party in the first place.. You are just going to have to move more toward the center... LIVE WITH IT!!
So, there it is in a nutshell my intellectually challenged parrots... There are the keys for you to re-establish the Republican Party as something meaningful again.. Something that we might not laugh at...
Do this, and you have atleast some what of a shot at self redemption... Although you are still going to live with the fact that it is your blind servitude that has resulted in two lost wars and an economy that is a joke, here is a very simple and basic game plan to help you rebuild what you have destroyed...
Best of luck to you..
Now, back to the topic at hand...

It also shows why FOX is the de facto masterbatorium for Conservatives everywhere.

I am all for that myself...
But as I have already explained, Rightwingers have proven that they were not mature enough to handle a political discussion board..
The process was usually the same:
A Rightwinger puts out some ignorant talking point that they were fed from the leaders in their think tank...
Someone like me who is much smarter than they are exposes it as being a half truth or flat out lie...
Then the Rightwingers start running around accusing anyone that smarter than them of being unpatriotic, or siding with the enemy etc...
Then when that strategy doesn't work, they change the subject and behave in a manner in which eventually gets the thread closed...
They just can't handle being proven wrong...
It frustrates them that most of the talking points that they cut and paste from Newsmax, or parroted from their Rightwing radio and talk show hero's just doesn't stand up to the litmus test...
Then, instead of doing the inconceivable and admitting that they are wrong, the wave the white flag of defeat by resorting to a variety of childish antics...
The return of VOT would be wonderful..
The return of the childish antics of the humiliated Rightwingers that were exposed as being wrong on so many occasions would be sad...

C'mon Shockley. You don't expect anyone to fall for those obviously doctored images from Fox News. I'm sure none of that really happened.
The next thing you'll be telling me is Senator Arlen Specter is a Democrat now.
DOH!!!
