TV Ratings in the Ohio Valley

Does anyone know the most recent ratings between WTOV and WTRF in Wheeling/Steubenville?

I heard a 3 to 1 ratio in favor of WTOV in some newscasts...worse in others. Bray's brilliance continues to show.

LMFAO, WTOV-9 just slaughtered WTRF-7 at the 6am, 12pm, 6pm and 11pm news casts. Can't remember the actual numbers but I seen WTOV won the 12pm , 6pm and 11pm slots 3 to 1. WTOV-9 just destroyed WTRF-7 6am news cast a whopping 5 to 1. I wonder if that is some kind of record?

WTRF should just pack up and leave town, that is embarrassing.

I guess the real question is who is bring who down, WKKX or WTRF? Both suck right now or maybe misery loves company?

When will Bray consolidate all four of his stations into one operating center/studio and 3 other newsroom/studios?

That wouldn't work either. It's too late. These stations can only be saved by Bray throwing in the towel and letting somebody take over who knows how to run a news station. His collection of vertically challenged henchmen need to go to...what's left of them.

Lovetalkradio....before you criticize WTRF or anyone else, learn how to write properly. As far as the three to one, I'm sure you heard that on WTOV's promos for themselves. Embelishment is always their style. Until I see concrete numbers, I don't want to read your poorly-written posts.

WTRF can't self promote when they can't win a ratings period. Oh wait, WTRF is #1 at 10:00pm.

Maybe Cary can carry NASCAR on Friday nights since he didn't like High School football, what a dumb ass.

As for WKKX and WTRF, misery does love company.

WTRF doesn't stand a chance. I'm shocked they actually win at 10...even though they are the only news in town at that time. By the way, isn't offering a 10pm news kind of like saying, "Since you hate our other newscasts so much, here's some more!"? With Bray Cary calling the shots, and the 3-stooges brain trust of Brenda Danehart, Brad Stanford and Roger Lyons doing their master's bidding, they'll never win.

I do like some of the on air talent. Love Stacy Rich and Leigh Ann, just feel bad for them and rest of on air talent with Bray Cary around. Let's hope Cary sells WTRF soon. I have heard Cary is hurting finacially, I am crossing my fingers.

Don't get me wrong...there are plenty of good people who work there. It's just happens that they aren't managers.

There are several very good people at Channel 7. I wish nothing but the best for them. It must be disheartening to have the three top networks, yet fall to an NBC affiliate. However, look at CBS news. After Cronkite, they've been the also-rans. There must be a "Cronkite curse," because everything they've done comes up short.

That "three to one" presents a problem. First, one could -- and I would -- argue that it should be in quotes, but I'm afraid I can't recall the term or phrase reflecting why. Second, those three words actually represent a single adjective modifying an implied (uh, missing!) noun....you know, something like "audience," "margin," "victory," or "smackdown." As a result, you'd want to hyphenate them.

Embelishment is always their style.

Worth noting: "embellishment" has two of those twelfth letters of the alphabet.
