How many days...

Post by Cameron »

...do you stay on-the-air if you're just broadcasting a 60-cycle hum?

Answer: At MINIMUM two if you're AM 1400 WOBG in Clarksburg. I guess the ID's are being heard SOMEWHERE.

...best radio I heard on I-79.

Once they discover hum is cheaper than staff and the ratings are about the same, It will be all over.

Perhaps someone hung up the phone line that is patched into the board for their excellent sound quality. Is 1340 on?

Do either 1340 or 1400 ever run as much as a legal ID at the top of the hour? It seems as if both are just running open feeds of their networks.

Actually, that 60-cycle hum is an improvement. They used to emit a weird sound like somebody walking across a wooden floor in a pair of heavy shoes.
