Why the time lag in the news?

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Why the time lag in the news?

Post by CoolBreeze »

WSAZ has a story today (Wed) of an Applebees restaurant manager being beaten:

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A simple request by a restaurant manager ended with him being beaten with a roll of nickels.

According to a criminal complaint, Christopher Young became angry with Applebee's manager Jerry Holstein after he asked Young's girlfriend to quiet down.

Young allegedly knocked Holstein to the ground and punched him several times in the face while he was holding a roll of nickels. It happened Friday night at the Applebee's in Kanawha City.

Officers searched Young and found other weapons on him and prescription pills that didn't belong to him. Young has been charged with battery, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Yet apparently this took place last Saturday night.

What might cause such a time lag do you suppose?

Apparently no one else did either, and that's my point. It could have been in the paper, but I didn't see it.
