WDTV - No Power = No News

WDTV - No Power = No News
Last night's 11:00 newscast on WDTV was about 30 minutes late due to a power outage in the area. One would think that a TV station should have a backup power supply? What would happen in the state of a national emergency ? I guess TV would be useless and so would all of the auto pilot radio stations in the area.

Was the station on air at all??? If so there is no excuse.. At 11:00 they ran the syndicated show "The Insider". Can either WBOY or WDTV go live anymore? I can't remember the last time I saw any LIVE footage save for WDTV sticking a camera out the back of the garage door to show a snow plow.

Saw a live report from the old Produce Stand about a mile from the WBOY studios on Pike St the other day. So they are capable.
Wonder if WDTV is going all single anchor coverage now that Amanda Pavlik is gone?
