So I Ate In Cincinnati...

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

So I Ate In Cincinnati...

Post by Scott Reppert »

Sadly, Al, I did not like Green Papaya.

Mekong blew it away.

As did the White Castle I stopped at on the way home.

For all of my full reviews of Cincinnati, Dayton, Niagara Falls, Fairmont, Morgantown, Clarksburg, Cleveland and more at Urban Spoon you can look here:

Best radio station I heard? Whatever the college station on 1340 AM is in Athens. WOW!

Second best? WXIC...Waverly, OH. I got the Gospel and I laughed at the same time. Can't beat that...

Worst? Every station that the scan stopped on on the FM band...

Wow--sorry about Green Papaya. I've been there a few times and it was always good. I should have told you about WVXU--Local public station from NKU. Nice eclectic format.

I can't visit Cincy without eating at Donatos. The founders favorite is at the top of my pie list.
Also, there's a great place in West Chester called Rafferty's. May be a chain but they have outstanding appetizers and salads.

Still, my favorite all time Cincy eatery is Potato Works inside Kings Island. Damn! It's worth the admission fee just to have the privileged of eating at this establishment.
