Apparently this past Sunday during the Kansas race broadcast, Mike Joy referenced the video, which sent it skyrocketing up in views on YouTube. I'm not sure that doing that was in NASCAR's best interest since it reinforces many negative stereotypes that some hold about NASCAR fans.

I've never understood the attraction of NASCAR but you can't argue with its success. Those stereotypical fans spend a good percentage of their disposable (and even indesposable) income, not only on NASCAR merchandise but also on Chevrolets, Fords, Toyotas, and Dodges, and all the other consumer products that are tied to NASCAR.
I don't get it. I know all kinds of people who will only by a certain product because said product sponsors their driver. Good grief.
