Greatest Radio Stunt in Charleston/Huntington Mrkt

Here's an idear to debate: What in YHO's was the best radio stunt by a DJ in the Charleston/Huntington markets??

I realize that its a broad question, but use your imagination...

I don't know if it would br the greatest stunt but Dave Collins lived in a tent at the cornor of 4th ave and 4th street up above Tag Galyean Dodge for about a week perhaps longer. I can't remember what he was up there for or for how long. He was not supposed to leave the tent but at night he would get down to the roof of the building. I had to take some food and water up to him. I don't remember about waist desposial ? He did live cut ins through out the day on ,well it was either WPLH of WWHY. It was a good stunt lot of comments on it.
Then what about J.B. Miller selling street paving bricks from State Street (can't remember what city. but he sold a lot. I bought one and it is still around somewhere.

May I respectfully submit my weeks long battle with Governor Caperton over his participation in Toy Mountain with Super 102 that resulted in his submission to my higher authority, inviting me to his office, inviting my family to the lighting of the state Christmas tree and his appearance at the Toy Mountain event. I think the headline in the Huntington paper was something like "Governor surrenders to radio station".

Giving away free waxings on when President Bush left office on "Say Goodbye To Bush Day."

Wearing adult diapers and taking bets on when I would piss myself after drinking 19 beers and half a fifth of Maker's Mark while on the air on "In Depends Day."

I don't ever remember actually stunting, but "Guest DJ Day" was an amazing feat with one of the early morning drive hours featuring two eighty plus year old ladies from the American Heart Association. I knew the day was going to be a success when I heard one of them say: "And now here's AC/DC with 'You Shook Me All Night Long' on Friendly City Radio, WTCS".

Aside from that day as a whole, the only other thing I can remember that caused a stir was my "Hitler's Birthday"/"Adolph's Meat Tenderizer" comment...

The best that I could do was sneaking into Super Bowl XXXVIII...But the fact that I couldn't get a board op and thus instead of doing it live, had to recap it on the following Monday minimized it a tad...

In 1976 while on staff with WTCR, "Dan The Music Man" and myself went to Charleston, slept on the sidewalk and waited in line to purchase ELVIS tickets to give away on air. Then WGNT even had the balls to call us to buy the tickets so THEY could give them away!

In 1973, our jerkwad program director at WWHY, Gary Shaffer, did his show from the Cabell County Jail every morning. It was apparently Dick's (Hustead) idea he thought up with his buddies over some highballs...and while not a "great" stunt, i think it was the most bizarre i've ever encountered...like the WKRP turkey drop!

another bizarre memory from WWHY was Gary Miller getting on the phone from home, pretending to be GM Bill Jones, and ordering a jingle package from Pepper-Tanner. (i know this because i was listening on the extension) Bill apparently thought he actually DID order it when he was soused, so the jingles were bought...and sounded great!!!

I also fondly remember Ron Mastin "murdering" Gregg Elliot on the air at WTCR, when Elliot was about to leave to come to WCMI!

I remember Dick Hustead's last day on WWHY.
He hosted a call-in show.
People were calling to say he was a drunk and didn't pay his bills.
They said he smelled awful and generally ruined his farewell day.
Then he went out and got drunker.
