Man climbs to the top of the ugly Clay Center statue..

A man climbed to the top of the statue in front of the Clay Center in Charleston around 8:45 a.m. Sunday and threatened to jump, police and 911 dispatchers said. No injuries were reported, police said.

I made about a 4'-5' high reasonable facsimile of that in my Grandmother's side yard when I was around 13 years old.

I think that would have been the perfect opportunity to get him down by falling the piece of artwork like a big tree. :mrgreen:

Last night the State Police got a guy of his roof in Wayne county by shooting him down.
It was in Genoa, so it's OK.

The Sheriff says Charles Miller was shot by law enforcement, after climbing onto the roof of his trailer on Rutherford Road with a gun and taking a "combative stance."
