CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia is increasing the number of officers who supervise sex offenders.
Seven probation officers will be sworn in Friday at the Supreme Court’s chambers at the state Capitol.
The State Journal reports the newest officers will work in Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Morgan, Mineral, Pendleton and Tucker counties.

A Charleston man is in jail on charges he raped a woman on the West Side on Tuesday, leaving her running naked and bleeding down a city street. The woman told police she had willingly gone down to the Elk River near the Spring Street Bridge to party, but when she got there she said Illingworth turned violent and attacked and raped her.
Hodges said Illingworth had been staying at the Roark-Sullivan Lifeways Giltinan Center, a men's shelter in Charleston. Hodges said police discovered Illingworth was registered as a sex offender in Nebraska.
According to the West Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry, Illingworth served time for sex crimes in Nebraska and Idaho. Both crimes involved children.

The government cant seem to do enough to bring trash like this in Charleston so that we ALL may enjoy their crimes together.....
