You won't be seeing peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches on the lunch menu at Kanawha County Schools anymore.
The county reports about 50 students have peanut allergies, so they are removing all traces of the product from schools in the entire district.
There are about 26,000 school kids in Kanawha county. Of those, about 30 are allergic to peanuts, said Brenda Isaac, lead school nurse for the county school system. So.... 25,970 kids cant have P&J. Perfect.
