I was looking up the subject of probiotic bacteria, which is something that scientists are starting to use in a big way. (think yogurt)

Then I stumble onto a procedure called Fecal Bacteriotherapy. This is where someone's poop is collected, ground up in a blender, then added to saline and injected into a patient with bowel disease. It's all very fascinating really.

So I'm watching a Youtube video on the subject and the doctor claims that "there are 9 times more living bacterial cells in our stool, than in the entire body.... so in effect, we are 10% human and 90% crap". (I threw the word crap in there)

OK... who didn't suspicion this all along?

If you think about it, It makes sense.
Cells die or excrete waste to the blood which is filtered by the kidneys.
Blood and lymphatic fluid is everywhere in the body.
I like my steaks medium rare. I am cow poop.

Yes but why cant they isolate the needed bacteria and "use as needed"? I mean, they have needed bacteria in Yogurt that we EAT for Gods sake. There must be a reason that I haven't figured out yet as to why poop itself must be used.
