WBOY syndicated programming in HD

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

WBOY syndicated programming in HD

Post by WV Newsnut »

Not sure if today is the first day or not, but apparently WBOY is FINALLY broadcasting their syndicated programs in HD. Dr. Oz, Ellen, Big Bang Theory, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, etc., have all been in HD so far today except for the second Big Bang Theory on YourABC..... it's about time. Wonder if/when HD newscast will ever begin?????

All of WVMH will eventually get newscasts in HD, some sooner than others. WTRF apparently is the testing site for the group.

Oh well that didn't last long..... WBOY is back to broadcasting all their syndicated programming in standard definition. I think it lasted all of what a month or a month and a half???

It is my understanding WVMH had issues with their original HD server vendor. The results were not pretty.

Now if only Dish would pick up the Clarksburg-Weston locals in HD... I don't see it happening anytime soon, though.
