We were on WCHS/WVAH news last night with our dog

Videographer Chris Mazi came to the Cabell County Library Wednesday evening and got some video of the Read to a Therapy Dog program. Our Sheltie Angel is nominated for a Hero Dog Award in the Therapy Dog category for her work in the program with a boy with selective mutism.

Reporter Darrah Wilcox did a great job with the story, getting everything exactly right. The story ran last night on WVAH news at 10 PM and WCHS news at 11 PM and we heard it also ran today duing the 12 Noon news on WCHS.

That Read to a Therapy Dog program sounds like a good one, EZ. Good luck with it.

Speaking of WCHS-TV, is it out for anyone else on Huntington cable (Comcast/Xfinity) right now? I was hoping to watch the Spurs/Clippers game, but the station isn't airing via cable right now for some reason. I checked the other TV and it's the same deal there, and the rest of the channels (local and national) that normally air are there.

I have rabbit ears with me but no converter box (the antenna went with an HDTV that is in Nashville), thus I can't watch the OTA signal. Bummer.

Update:
-I voted for Angel.
-Comcast/Xfinity 8 and 9 at least briefly simulcasted the CW affiliate after cable channel 8 was in black/dead air for hours.
-When the UEFA final penalty kicks had ended on FOX, I checked cable channel 8 again and ABC (and thus the Spurs/Clippers game) was back on, so hopefully all is well on that end.
