Who picks the NFL Games on WVAH???

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Who picks the NFL Games on WVAH???

Post by cgarison »

Who picks the NFL games on FOX11???

No Eagles, Redskins or Cowboys. The NFC East battle for a wild card is going down to the wire and we get blessed with the Falcons/Vikings and Cardinal/Patriots. I hate Randy Moss along with a lot of people that went to local schools in the mid 1990's so don't use that piss poor excuse. I would love to have seen Chad Pennington and the Dolphins in their turnaround season, but that is CBS/AFC.

What a crock of crap. Even WOWK has the Steelers game on today. Pick games that matter to the people of WV. Not the games that matter to Arizona, Minnisota and Boston.

I thought today's games were some of the best choices this year.

Here in Ironton, Time Warner is showing both the Steelers/Titans on WOWK game along with the Bengals/Browns game on WBNS.

Go Bengals!! We'll get 'em!

Bengals vs Browns.
The race for the chase for the 2nd draft pick.
A waste of pixels.

The Redskins were on almost every week, until they started imploding a few weeks ago. While mathematically alive, I don't see how they get it this year. Most fans would agree that last week's embarrassment in Cincy conceded the season.

I've seen plenty of NFC East games this year.

No. I am in KY. And I am all Eagles'd out and no game to watch. Other than Pittsburgh.

Giants/Panthers is the big game tonight.

NFC East was the division to beat. Now it is a matter of who is holding on to have a chance at the playoffs.

Bengals/Browns... Hmmm.... At least I won $250.00 on the Eagles tie with Cincy. What a terrible game. And Cleveland at the start of the season was supposed to be the best team in the AFC... Hahahahahahaha.

Edit: The powers that be at HEX creamed their britches when they discovered that I had been on too many projects all year and had 10 days vacation left for December. Hooray for me! I am off through January 5th!

That's exactly how I feel whenever Marshall is on.

Eagles pummeled by the Skins.

Sad day. Playoff hopes dashed. Last home game of the season next Sunday. Perhaps this will be the last game for Reid/McNabb.

The Lions have already clinched the #1 pick in the draft; for their sake I hope they pull one out at Green Bay on Sunday. Going winless can't be fun.

At least Detroit fans can rest a bit easier with Matt Millen gone and a GM (Martin Mayhew) in place who instantly made a great move in landing Dallas' first-and-third round picks in the 2009 Draft for Roy Williams, who was going to be an unrestricted free agent in 2009 (unless Detroit franchised him). Land a quality QB with the#1 overall pick, draft a few blue chip defensive players, and avoid paying too much for free agents... and let's see where the team is in two years.

Speaking of Dallas, WVAH is carrying the Eagles/Cowboys game at 4:00pm tomorrow. I can't wait to watch the last home game of the Birds. Debating as to whether I should where my Eagles shirt or my Phillies. I have been wearing Phillies gear on Sundays (along with many other Philadelphians) in protest of Andy Reid and McNabb.

Either way, while I am cheering on my Eagles, Mom will be cheering for the Cowboys.

Philly made it in at 9-6-1! Also, I know there are Patriots fans out there who are pissed about missing the playoffs at 11-5 but 8-8 San Diego getting in as the #4 seed in the AFC.

Looks like the AFC is becoming the dominating conference once again.

The Jets fired their coach? At 9-7? Favre's job is on the line? At 9-7? Could they have did any better without him?

The Texans finished at 8-8. I think this is the first time they finished with a .500 record.

I don't see anyone stopping the Giants again this year, except maybe Pittsburgh or Tennessee in the SB.

One of the drawbacks of the 8-division, two WCs system. This would've never happened in the old system.

I loved it when the Philadelphia Eagles owner "high-fived" his wife in the face.

It did once -- the 1985 Broncos went 11-5 but missed the playoffs, while the 8-8 Cleveland Browns won the AFC Central that year.

This is why division games are so important and why you always look to win your division.

The Giants probably won't get past Carolina and would have trouble with Philly. Don't look for them to make the Super Bowl again.

It would be interesting to see a Manning/Manning Super Bowl as they have won the last two.
