Oh, Just Another Little Music Video...

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Oh, Just Another Little Music Video...

The Waiting. 1998. "Still So Pretty".

Possibly the catchiest song I have ever heard...

And, speaking of videos I have created, VIMEO has left "Easter Song" up for it's return engagement...

Mmmmm...OK.

Here's the problem I have with America:

If you would blindfold a person and drive them 1500 miles in any direction from the center of this country, then take the blindfold off, they couldnt tell you where they were. Why? Because they would see the same Wal-Mart, the same MacDonalds, the same stores, the same strip malls, the same highways etc. The only difference would be the flat ground vs the hills. America has lost it's identity and has become so homogenous that there's little reason to travel anymore.

Now, do the exact same thing in Europe, (and if you know anything at all about it's cultures) you'll know exactly where you are when the blindfold is taken off. Each nation has a distinct look, feel, and culture. There's really something new to see at every border. And as much as I hate to say this, they are for the most part so far ahead of us in so many ways right now, that we are the ones about to lose and have in several areas.
If your experience is strictly an American one, you are probably happy with the way things are here in Wal_Martville.

That feeling comes over me all the time when I travel. I find myself saying, either to myself or to the traveling companion, "Hey! This looks just like...."

In that respect, I agree with you 100% Cool. The thing that I LOVE about America, though, are the "hidden away" places that hardly nobody knows about and you have to search out to find.

What I'm trying to say is: traveling through Europe (which I have done) is an overall greater experience, but they don't have no "Mystery Hole"...
