Word is she's moving to ONN (Ohio News Network) in Columbus.

Who is taking over the newscasts next week? 13 has absolutely no one talented for the job.

Stacey Moniot is the Sandra replacement.
Very attractive and seems competent.
Sandra's picture is still on the website banner.
May have to get a contractor to change it.

Stacey just graduated from college a few years ago. Very young. I doubt they would hire someone with such little experience to take on a major anchor job. Although, the talent pool in this market does seem to be trending toward 12 year olds and college kids, so it's possible. Best of luck.

Maybe there are cash flow problems.
She did fine. Lets see how she handles the chaos of a simple election night.

Stacy apparently is not Permanent...
from her facebook page.....

"I'm pitching in at our sister station WOWK in Huntington this week,
so if you're in that area catch me at 6, 7, and 11. I'll be back at WBOY next week!"

sounds like Bray, borrow from sister station and he won't have to spen any extra cash...

I thought it was interesting that Sandra opened the 11 on friday and then was never heard from again? I wonder why they wouldn't let her say good by. perhaps she might have told just why she was leaving. In a way i feel sorry for where ever she is going to. She is very dificult to work with. several times she would be getting in to her seat as the opening was playing. and several times talking with her mike on the desk. she was always playing with her hair and was caught several time on camera doing it. BUT she did a very good job on the air. I am sure she will be missed. the girl on last night was very good very pleasant to look at. I enjoyed watching her.

Stacey's name is in wowk bios.
Could be that Bray is auditioning talent for the job.
Also the job has not been advertised in wvmh websites.

I think they are just finding temporary talent in Huntington until March. They obviously can't close Huntington operations until then. I think Scott will be the main anchor once the move to Charleston is complete.

Hard to say what Bray is doing today. It might change by tomorrow.

Having said that, the WVMH election coverage Tuesday night turned sour, real fast, so I'm told.

Good luck to Sandra in her future endeavors. She was always friendly to me in the few times our paths crossed during my WSAZ tenure 10+ years ago, despite the fact that I worked for the competition...
