Body found in burning car, but at the tennis courts?

Passersby saw a car on fire at the Tennis Courts in Cookskin park today. Authorities discovered a burned body in the back seat.

This car was on fire all over. That means suicide or murder... or meth lab.

It was a red car, just looked like it was on fire all over.
Cops are not releasing name of driver "out of respect for the family".
Wonder what that means?

Unlike the media of yesterday, suicides are never printed in the paper. They DID print suicides up to about the early 60s or so around here, but no more. Electronic media seems to have followed suite, except for a few rare examples. If a suicide for instance is witnessed by a group of people, there's no way out of reporting it. But if it's a private suicide, it's simply not covered anymore.

This is an unusual situation, where the car was on the main road in the park. Yet no one saw what happened. IF... and I repeat IF it were a suicide, the person could have easily hid the car in several area's of the park. And if the authorities determined early that it WERE a suicide, you would have never heard about it. So, this "might" be a suicide where the only witnesses were witness to a burning car and nothing else. Now it's in the Media's hands as to what to do with it.

Then again, maybe they're simply notifying the family first, as is standard operating procedure for any kind of death.

UPDATE: The body of a woman found in a burned out car at Coonskin Park is not being considered a crime.

UPDATE TWO: The media decided to "sort of" report the suicide:

Police said a woman who was found dead Tuesday night in the back seat of a burned-out car in Coonskin Park committed suicide.

Kanawha County Sheriff's Lt. B.C. Robbins said he would not elaborate on the woman's death because "no criminal act was involved in the incident."
