Maybe...just maybe he attended a Bobby Petrino/Nic Saban joint speech about leaving before your job is done.Hoosier Daddy wrote:I think leaving your head coaching position just weeks before the team plays in a Bowl game is about the shittiest, uncaring, disrespectful, spit-in-the-face and bite-the-hand-that-fed-you things a human being could do. It says a lot about Rich Rodriguez's character.
Even if a bigger school offered up more dollars, the RIGHT thing to do is finish the season at WVU, wrap up all the loose ends with coaches, players, and West Virginia athletic department higher-ups, then shake hands and head off to Michigan. The folks in Ann Arbor shouldn't expect a new coach to start until the current football season is over, and they should wonder about the integrity and character of one who'd leave another successful college program in the lurch just weeks before the big tournament.
Shitty.Shitty.
Shitty.
Oh btw, as a mountaineer fan, FUCK HIM! He left for the money$$$$$$$. Not this bullshit that the so called "experts" are saying. Mark my words. It will come out. Just like last year with Alabama. He extorted more money last year and did the same thing this year. WVU blinked last year. They didn't this year.
